About John Hutchinson

I'm 53, and one of ten kids; 5 boys, 5 girls, I came sixth.

After high school in Canberra and university in Sydney (Mechanical Engineering UNSW), I ended up in media management roles through Western Australia, Victoria, NSW and in 1998, the Sunshine Coast.

I'm 26 years married to Caroline (92.7 Mix FM). We met through radio, studying together at the Australian Film Televison and Radio School. In our career moves through regional Australia, some of our best work included Gabe (24) born in Geraldton, Milli (21) product of Shepparton, and Jemima (18), our Albury Wodonga baby.

So like many Sunshine Coast families, we've come from somewhere else, and appreciate how good we have it here.
